What we keep
When you join the waitlist, we keep:
- your email address
- when you signed up
- where you came from, if the link you followed was tagged with it or your browser tells us which site sent you
- your rough location (city, region and country), which Cloudflare works out from your IP address. We don't keep the IP address itself.
We don't use cookies, and we don't collect anything else.
What we use it for
To email you when gud w it opens. We won't email you about anything else. The location tells us where people are waiting for the app. We don't sell your information, share it with advertisers or use it for ads.
Who else handles it
Cloudflare hosts this site and the database the waitlist is kept in. Cloudflare Web Analytics and Umami count visits (the page, the site that sent you, your browser, device and country) without cookies and without following you to other sites. Resend, the service we email the waitlist with, gets your email address and nothing else, to send those emails and handle unsubscribes. When you join, our team gets an email about it at our own gudwit.com addresses, which Google Workspace hosts.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it, or until we no longer need it to tell you gud w it is open.
Your choices
Email privacy@gudwit.com to see what we have about you, correct it or delete it. Every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe.
Do Not Track
Nothing on this site follows you across other sites. If your browser sends Do Not Track, Umami doesn't count your visit.
Children
The waitlist isn't meant for children under 13. If we learn a signup is from one, we delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
